When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford to appear on the show, Segel said that Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and would audition people who looked like Ford. Segel told Goldstein that he had to at least bring it to Ford first, thinking he would immediately turn him down, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford was being brought on board, generating interest from other top actors.

Well, I just finished it and it not only met my expectations, but exceeded them
First of all, as soon as I saw that Harrison Ford and Jason Segal were starring in it, I was already planning to see it, but after reading all the positive reviews and watching the trailer, my excitement grew even more. I’m not saying it’s the best show of the year, but it’s an original, feel-good comedy that will have you laughing throughout every episode.
