Line of Events
In 1980s Indiana, a group of young friends witness supernatural forces and covert government attacks. As they search for answers, the children unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries. Former Journey singer Steve Perry said that the Stranger Things Season 4 remix was of Journey’s 1980s hit, Separate Ways (Worlds Apart). they did it pretty much the way he originally wanted it back in the 1980s, but lacked the technology. Many episodes show people 'interrupting' someone talking on a two-way radio or CB – ie one person is talking/transmitting and another person is transmitting to interrupt them, then the other person hears that interruption and stops transmitting. This has been done a few times on children’s CB radios and radios used by the police.

Those radios – the CB and period police radios from the show – don’t work that way. If you’re broadcasting and someone else is broadcasting, you can’t hear them. The characters of the series are the real stars here, I loved all of them
In the first 8 minutes, I could tell that I had found something special here in Stranger Things. His exciting story delivers information at a fast pace and I never felt like I was getting confused by boredom, and there were enough twists and turns to keep me interested. It also had some pretty great horror sequences and the use of flashing lights, while yes, a common trope fit the story so well that I was on the edge of my seat every time the electricity crackled through my speakers and the lights flashed. They were all great with amazingly interesting flaws and the way they mix and clash was fun to see unfold. They certainly help this show, although I would say that the government antagonists on the show felt a bit flat and underdeveloped and not nearly as memorable. The production values are also quite good, with some beautiful cinematography, editing, lighting and sound.
Oh my goodness, I loved their choice of music
I would say that the CGI seems a bit obvious, and I noticed a few issues from time to time where scenes didn’t quite look up to scratch. However, I think I’ve been spoiled with visual quality since Game of Thrones, so I’d take this criticism with a grain of salt, as it certainly didn’t detract from the overall experience. The environment and style of everything in the places that are also great to see and feel real and interesting. The way everything is shot captures every moment expertly and really helps to draw out the moments in the story with even more emotion. Stranger Things is one of those special shows that I stumbled upon and after the opening I knew I was hooked. Its thrilling, dark tale was expertly woven throughout its 8-episode run time, and I know I’ll be going back to watch it again.
Memorable, thrilling, dark and spooky Netflix knocks Stranger Things out of the park, 10/10
The ending is pretty well rapped up, with a few loose storylines left hanging with the promise of a possible follow-up for seasons, but the story was rapped up pretty satisfactorily by the end. Whether they’re discovering the stars, escaping dystopias or making the world a better place, these women are what sci -fi says.
